La trama di queste carte è quella che narra un attore (chi usa le carte) in uno spettacolo al Teatro Fantasmagorico. Quando si estrae la prima carta, il sipario si apre e il circo magico dei sogni ha inizio. Le immagini delle carte sono uniche, e si discostano notevolmente dallo schema Rider-Waite-Smith (soprattutto negli Arcani Minori), pur continuando a seguire una struttura tradizionale dei Tarocchi.

I Semi: i Tarocchi del Teatro Fantasmagorico hanno i tradizionali quattro semi di Spade, Bastoni, Coppe e Denari. Una particolarità di questo mazzo è che i Bastoni sono disegnati come bastoni con una stella in cima, proprio come sarebbe una bacchetta magica, mentre i Denari sono disegnati come semplici dischi a faccia liscia.
La confezione cartonata contiene un mazzo di carte e 1 libretto di spiegazioni di 42 pagine in lingua inglese.

Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot Deck (PTH78) (item G010_0623). The deck was created by Graham Cameron and published by U.S. Games Systems Inc. The plot of these cards is that of an actor (the person using the cards) in a Phantasmagoric Theater show. When the first card is drawn, the curtain rises and the magical circus of dreams begins. The card images are unique, deviating significantly from the Rider-Waite-Smith scheme (especially in the Minor Arcana), while still following a traditional Tarot structure.
The Suits: The Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot features the traditional four suits of Swords, Wands, Cups, and Pentacles. A unique feature of this deck is that the Wands are drawn as staffs with a star at the top, much like a magic wand, while the Pentasmagoric are drawn as simple, smooth-faced discs.
The hardback box contains a deck of cards and a 42-page English instruction booklet.
Condition: Box with slight signs of wear, as shown in the photos. Cards are new and never played.
